Liner operator launches new intra-Asia service linking Vietnam and India
The weekly service deploys mid-sized tonnage and targets growing manufactured goods flows between Southeast and South Asia.

A container line has launched a new weekly intra-Asia service connecting ports in Vietnam with the west coast of India, according to a customer advisory.
The service deploys vessels in the 2,500 to 4,000 TEU range and offers direct connections aimed at electronics, textiles and industrial goods flows that have grown alongside manufacturing investment in Vietnam.
The rotation includes calls in Southeast Asian transhipment hubs, providing connections to mainline services.
Intra-Asia trades have seen a series of new service launches this year as carriers redeploy mid-sized tonnage released from long-haul trades.
The carrier said the first sailing is scheduled for mid-September.
