A London-based shipbroking firm has appointed a new head of dry cargo research, the company announced, as it expands its analytical offering to owners, charterers and financial clients.
The appointee joins from a commodity trading house where they led freight analysis, and will oversee the firm's dry bulk market reports and forward curve commentary.
The firm said the role reflects growing client demand for integrated market intelligence spanning physical and derivative freight markets.
The appointment is effective this month.
