Alkagesta reports record revenue and growth in H1 2026
Alkagesta has posted record first-half 2026 revenue of $3.5 billion, supported by a 53% increase in trading volumes and strategic expansions into aviation fuel and increased storage capacity.

Alkagesta recorded significant financial growth during the first half of 2026, according to reports from Times of Malta, Business Now, Biofuels International, and Emerging Europe. The company achieved record revenue of $3.5 billion for the period. Trading volumes also saw a substantial rise, increasing by 53% year-over-year to reach 4.9 million metric tonnes. These results reflect a period of expansion across several key operational areas for the firm.
Commercial developments during the first half of the year included the company’s entry into the aviation fuel sector via the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System. Furthermore, Alkagesta completed its initial crude oil transactions, which included the end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East. The company also continued to scale its operations at the Singapore hub, which reached a capacity of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes per month.
Looking ahead, the company anticipates that its total trading volumes for the full year of 2026 will exceed 10 million metric tonnes. The management team currently holds a 35% equity stake in the business and has indicated an intention to increase this holding further. These projections and ownership details were noted in the recent media coverage surrounding the firm's performance.
Infrastructure expansion remained a priority during the first half of the year. Alkagesta secured a multi-year biofuel storage agreement at the Pantank facility in Antwerp. This development contributed to an increase in the company's total storage capacity across Europe and Asia, which now stands at 700,000 m³. The firm continues to focus on scaling its logistical footprint to support its growing trading activities.
The recent reports in various international publications underscore the company's strategic focus on diversifying its commodity portfolio and enhancing its global storage capabilities. By integrating new pipeline access and expanding its presence in major hubs like Singapore, Alkagesta is positioning itself for sustained growth. The combination of record financial results and infrastructure investment provides a clear indication of the firm's current trajectory in the international energy and fuel markets.
